First Look at Mia Wasikowska in Tim Burton’s Alice

The folks at INF have debuted a few images today from the set of Tim Burton’s next film, a Burtonization of Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland. The film will feature 17-year old Australian actress Mia Wasikowska in the title role. As we told you the other day, it will also feature Burton regular Johnny Depp in the role of the Mad Hatter.

If you click on the image above, you can zip over to INF, where you will find a full range of pictures from the set. Also spotted on set was Tim Burton’s wife Helena Bohnam Carter, their baby daughter (who appears to be dressed up as an extra for the film) and the director himself, seen giving direction to his young star.

Alice in Wonderland will be a part live-action, part CG animation recreation of the classic tale, which will of course include some of the style that has made Burton such an iconic director. It is scheduled to hit theaters March 5, 2010.
