First Look: Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson in ‘Passengers’

I don’t know how I missed the release of these photos, but it appears that I did. I was trudging through some assets that we recently received from Sony Pictures, looking for a few cool behind the scenes videos to post from the upcoming Bond flick Quantum of Solace (which will be up in a little bit) when I came across these two photos from the upcoming thriller Passengers. The film stars Anne Hathaway, Andre Braugher and Patrick Wilson. Have a look at the first two stills to be released below. As well, I have included the official plot synopsis further down the page. As I am a fan of both Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson, I’d say that I will be keeping tabs on this one as we get closer to its October 24th release date.

Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson in Passengers

After a plane crash, a young therapist, Claire (Anne Hathaway), is assigned by her mentor (Andre Braugher) to counsel the flight’s five survivors. When they share their recollections of the incident — which some say include an explosion that the airline claims never happened — Claire is intrigued by Eric (Patrick Wilson), the most secretive of the passengers. Just as Claire’s professional relationship with Eric — despite her better judgment — blossoms into a romance, the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, one by one. Claire suspects that Eric may hold all the answers and becomes determined to uncover the truth, no matter the consequences.
