‘Exam’ Trailer: Getting a Job Isn’t Easy in this Economy

This morning we’ve got something interesting that goes out to our readers in the UK. Sometimes we post trailers — mostly from Hulu — that can’t be viewed by our friends across the pond, so every once in a while we like to give them something that only they can enjoy. Not to say that our American readers can’t watch the trailer for Exam, it’s just that it is only available on DVD today in the UK.

Director Stuart Hazeldine earned a BAFTA nomination for best directorial debut for this film, which tells the story of “Eight talented candidates who have reached the final stage of selection to join the ranks of a mysterious and powerful corporation. Entering a windowless room, an Invigilator gives them eighty minutes to answer one simple question. He outlines three rules they must obey or be disqualified: don’t talk to him or the armed guard by the door, don’t spoil their papers and don’t leave the room.”

The only problem, as you’ll see in the trailer below, is that their papers are blank. What is the question? What are they supposed to write on this blank sheet of paper? The answers are out there, but they won’t be easy to find.

Exam is out on UK DVD and Blu-ray starting today, June 7.
