In today’s edition of ‘Neil needs a reason to search the web for pictures of hot women even if it’s for non-news’, we have been closely following the musings of the gorgeous Diora Baird 140-characters at a time over on Twitter. And just the other day, our interest (among other things) was piqued when the model/actress laid down a “bomb-ass tweet” about auditioning for the upcoming Marvel superhero flick Thor, directed by Kenneth Brannagh. Even though she’s not revealing anything about her potential character, she did make a joke about her own physique:

@diorabaird1: Had an audition for the movie Thor today. Character description was ‘pretty, but sturdy with muscle’. Damn type casting.

Here at Reject HQ, we’re still not sure why exactly this is news — but we do appreciate the opportunity to browse through some of Ms. Baird’s photos online. With Natalie Portman already confirmed as nurse Jane Foster, a love interest of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in this realm, speculation is turning toward the fantastical realm of Asgard, where the women are built like brick shit-houses. Based on my research, Ms. Baird would fit in quite nicely as (or alongside) Lady Sif, the amazon-proportioned temptress who puts a siren-spell on Thor in one storyline.

At this point, we can only hope that Diora gets some kind of role in the film — and that the person Kenneth Brannagh chooses as costume designer has our best interest in mind.
