Amanda SeyfriedYou may remember Amanda Seyfried as “the dumb blonde girl” from a few different movies, like Mean Girls and Alpha Dog. You may also have seen her on television’s Big Love or Veronica Mars, where she has also pretty much fell into the role of “dumb blonde girl”. Well, for this young blonde hottie, it is dumb blonde girl no more! At least, we think so.

Sci Fi Wire is reporting that Seyfried has been cast opposite Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body, the second script from Juno scribe Diablo Cody. In the film, Megan Fox plays Jennifer, a small town cheerleader who becomes possessed by a demon punk rock band and stars killing all the boys in her town. Seyfried will play Needy, her “plain Jane” friend who must try and stop her and ultimately stop this demon rock group before they prey on cheerleaders in other parts of the world.

It is a very dark comedy-horror flick that was picked up by Fox Atomic right before Juno became the behemoth that it is today. Jason Reitman is on to produce the flick with his Hard C partner Dan Dubiecki and Mason Novick. The project, which will be directed by Karyn Kusama (Girl Fight), will shoot in Vancouver some time in March.

One last thing… Did I mention that Megan Fox plays a sexy cheerleader who goes ape-shit on the boys in her town? There is no way this movie can suck. Absolutely no friggin’ way.
