Sunday Shorts: A Love Story

A Love Story Short

Welcome to a late edition of Sunday Shorts, now with nine essential vitamins and minerals! Today’s short is, well — short, and to the point.

Love, it’ll rip your heart out. Blue-Tongue Films has a habit of showcasing quirky, interesting, well shot short films. 2005’s A Love Story is no exception. More after the flick.

A LOVE STORY

Synopsis: Love hurts.

Written/Directed by: Spencer Susser

Starring: Amy Smart, Branden Williams

Right? RIGHT!? Jesus Amy…

I wasn’t sure what drew me to the film at first, but I think a part of it is the perfectly timed second apology. Also, Branden has the, “Whaaaa?”, look down to a science. Clearly, someone is working from experience. Finally, the bloody fingerprints on the door frame? Beautiful way to send us on our way.

Make sure to visit Sunday Shorts next weekend — I’ve got a treat in store for everyone that is not to be missed.

It’ll be a Hadouken-tastic good time.
