Sunday Reader Roundtable: Ghostbusters (1984)

Here’s a fun (hopefully) new feature for our weekend edition here on FSR. We call it the Reader Roundtable. Every Sunday afternoon we will post one movie that is available for free online and ask our readers (all of you) to give us your review in the comment section below. This is your chance to astound us with your reviewing abilities — and hopefully it will help facilitate a sort of roundtable discussion. See how I did that, I brought it all back to the title of the feature? I’m brilliant, I know.

This week’s film is the 1984 Ivan Reitman directed Ghostbusters. If you remember back to yesterday, I was writing at great lengths about my curiously unstable affection for this franchise, an affection that began when I saw this movie on VHS back in the late 80s. And while I know we are all excited in different ways about seeing the Ghostbusters back on the big screen in the near future, I think we can all agree that there will never be anything like seeing Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson in their first cinematic adventure.

Check out Ghostbusters free on Hulu by clicking the image above or by clicking here. And be sure to come back and leave us your review in the comment section below.
