Daily Diversion: The Wall-E/Watchmen Mash-Up

By now this video is making its way around the web at the speed of light. I first spotted it yesterday on The Daily What and have been watching every few hours since that time. Why? Because I have that kind of time. But also because its probably one of the most creative mash-ups that I’ve ever seen. Though in fairness, it is less of a mash-up and more of a composite, combining spliced scenes from Pixar’s Wall-E with the audio from Warner Bros. Watchmen along with some creative titles and graphics. Most mash-ups are just audio from one trailer and video from another, which just happen to work together well. This one simply rises above. Give it a watch via the YouTube player above.
