I know, I know. You’ve never heard of the Blue Mountain State TV series. If you feel like a fool, you shouldn’t… it’s a new show on Spike

But just because you don’t know what it is doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it. The show follows the raunchy adventures of a college football team, and it straddles an odd line between being suitable for cable television and being a bit too dirty for grandma to watch. It’s legitimately funny at times, and while I wish it was on HBO and therefore allowed to show a bit more co-ed flesh it’s still far better than anything on Spike deserves to be.

Check after the jump to see how you can win one of three copies of Blue Mountain State: Season One.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below answering the following questions:

– What is your favorite football themed movie? And why?

That’s it! Make sure the email address associated with your comment is legit because that’s how we’ll be contacting the winners. One entry is allowed per person, and the contest is open to residents of the continental US ages 18 and over.

The official synopsis is below:

The first season of Spike TV’s outrageous football-themed comedy “Blue Mountain State” is coming to DVD and Blu-ray Disc this fall from Lionsgate. From the producers of Varsity Blues, TV’s “Smallville” and TV’s “The Sarah Silverman Program,” this hilarious series, in the tradition of Animal House and National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, follows three freshmen as they discover the fundamentals of life: football, parties, girls and hazing.  The DVD and Blu-ray Disc are loaded with uncut and exclusive extras including “Locker Room Rewind” video commentaries, the featurette “Making the Team: What it Takes to be a BMS Cheerleader,” outtakes/deleted scenes and more!  Both formats will be available just in time for the Spike TV season 2 premiere of “Blue Mountain State” on October 20th. Nothing is out of bounds in the first season of this SPIKE original comedy.  At the center of the action is The Blue Mountain State “Goats,” the team with the nastiest sacks in all of college football. With a freshman lineup that includes a back-up quarterback who’d rather party than play, a star running back who can’t score with the ladies, and a team mascot who redefines “personal foul,” will they be able to juggle football, girls, class and nonstop hazing? Blue Mountain State: Season One is the rudest, dirtiest comedy to ever hit the field.”

Blue Mountain State: Season One is recently available on DVD and Blu-ray. The contest ends Wednesday, October 13th at noon PST. Winners will be notified by email. Good luck!
